The second federal holiday of 2018 is upon us. Here's what's going to be open and what's going to be closed in our area.

MLK Day is a federal holiday, which means most public facilities will be closed, but not necessarily all of them. Here's a quick breakdown of what's open and what's closed in Massachusetts.
Schools: Closed

MBTA: According to MassDOT:
- Subways, buses, and The RIDE will operate on a Saturday schedule
- The Silver Line, commuter rail, and ferry service will operate on a weekday schedule.
