Month Of Green Line Shut Downs Planned In October
Shuttle buses will replace trains along the D Branch, the same line that's been closed in Cambridge since August.

BOSTON, MA — As soon as one Green Line service disruption ends, another one will begin.
Starting at the end of September, the MBTA will close a long stretch of the Green Line D Branch for track work. Shuttle buses will replace trains along the D Branch from Sept. 24 to Oct. 2, Oct. 8 to 16 and Oct. 22 to 30.
Shuttle buses will serve each stop from Riverside to Kenmore. Shuttles won't serve the Beaconsfield station because roads are too narrow in the area. The T recommends Beaconsfield riders pick up the Green Line at either Dean Road or the Brookline Reservoir.
