Three minutes and twenty-three seconds of virtual lovemaking from Mobile Steam Unit out of New York is a sheer delight for end of summer fun!

Where "Girl" by John Lennon on 1965's Beatles album Rubber Soul has a mixture of sounds, Wikipedia claiming there are German and Greek influences in the George Martin produced classic, Mobile Steam Unit employs American and British pop for their paean and hymn of praise to this somewhat imaginary synthetic "girl" or electronic lover - cascading sounds, different but parallel to Sly Stone's "Hot Fun in the Summertime" vibrations. There are a multitude of influences jam-packed into the grooving ecstasy dominated by dreamy, heavy keyboards. It's a distinctly different perspective than the collaboration with poet Sparrow, "Lumon" that the band released October 17, 2016 which featured Sparrow — poetry, Jeff Manian — keyboards , Dan Manian — bass, Sam Huntington — oo's, aa's with drums, keyboards, recording mixed and mastered by Pat Manian. "Lumon" goes into political territory referencing David Bowie, Jefferson Starship's Paul Kantner as Donald Trump gets taken to the woodshed while "Sex with OS" is a good soundtrack for a potential Matrix IV film.

The YouTube video is bordering on 30,000 hits as of September 5, 2018 - 29,765 to be exact.
