Prince, Princess Of Wales To Tour Boston Sites Before Awards Ceremony
Prince William and Kate Middleton will be in town for the Earthshot Prize Awards, but will make several other local stops.

BOSTON, MA — The Prince and Princess of Wales this week will make their first U.S. appearance in almost a decade to attend a local environmental awards ceremony — and will make stops across the Boston area.
Prince William and Kate Middleton will arrive in Massachusetts on Wednesday. On Friday, they will attend the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards at the MGM Music Hall, where five of 15 finalists will receive a more than $1 million award for work in solving environmental challenges.
Other celebrities who will attend or perform at the Earthshot awards include musician Billie Eilish, Annie Lennox, actor Rami Malek and documentarian Sir David Attenborough.

Before Friday's awards, the Prince and Princess of Wales will meet with Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, and make stops at Greentown Labs in Somerville, the nonprofit Roca in Chelsea, the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University and the JFK Presidential Library and Museum.
Prince William and Kate Middleton last visited the U.S. in 2015 when they were still the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They stopped in New York City and Washington, D.C., where they met with then-president Barack Obama and former vice president Joe Biden.
