A man with multiple convictions already was had a loaded revolver and large knife in his vehicle, police said.

BOSTON, MA — Driving with a cracked windshield is never wise, but it's downright poor judgement when you're illegally carrying weapons. That was allegedly the case for one Boston man Tuesday morning.
Around 10:35 a.m., State Police spotted a 2018 Chevrolet Impala on Columbia Road in Dorchester with a "large crack in the car’s windshield running horizontally across the driver’s line of sight." The troopers pulled the vehicle over on Geneva Ave.
The driver, identified as 32-year-old Keon Adams, told police he thought he had a learner's permit when asked for a license. Police said they noticed a large knife in the center console and a waistline bulge consistent with a concealed gun.

Police ordered Adams out of the car. He exited and then allegedly tried to pull away from the troopers. They cuffed him and recovered a loaded Ruger LCR .38 Special + P revolver from his pants.
Police determined the car was rented from Enterprise Car Rental, who said Adams nor his female passenger were named on the rental agreement.
