Revolver, 100 Bullets Found In Brighton Playground
The old school-looking revolver was recovered following an anonymous tip to police.

BOSTON, MA — A gun based off a 1851 revolver was found Tuesday in a Brighton playground. Police said a .44 caliber F.LLI Pietta revolver and 100 rounds of .45 caliber ammunition inside a plastic bag was recovered near the baseball field at McKinney Playground.
Police said an anonymous tip alerted them to the firearm.
Online forums say the gun is modeled after an 1851 Confederate Navy firearm.
