WHY: As a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, Stop & Shop is doing its part to ensure the communities it serves have access to the resources and support needed to live a healthful life.

Stop & Shop selected the Grove Hall store location for this neighborhood health improvement program because high rates of nutrition-related chronic conditions among those in the surrounding area, coupled with higher rates of food insecurity and lower income, create an opportunity for the grocer to play an active role in driving healthier outcomes via food-driven wellness initiatives.
