Boston Stop & Shop Worker Stabbed, 2 In Custody
An employee from the Hyde Park Stop & Shop was hospitalized, police said.
BOSTON — Two men are in custody after an 18-year-old Stop & Shop employee was stabbed Thursday night in Hyde Park, according to police.
Police were called to the store on Truman Parkway just before 7 p.m. When they arrived, witnesses directed officers to a car that was getting ready to leave the parking lot. Police stopped the car and confronted the driver and passenger, who were later taken into custody.
Police arrested Gerson Moreno, 21, of Dorchester, he and the driver, whose name has not yet been released, are scheduled to appear in West Roxbury District Court on charges of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

"Stop & Shop is cooperating fully with police as they investigate what occurred," store officials said in a statement.
Police told Patch that two other adults were also punched and a third got a cut on his hand during the altercation at the store, but all three declined medical attention.
