A summer of life-saving at the MGH Blood Donor Center

The MGH Blood Donor Center is thanking summer blood donors for continuing to make sharing life a part of theirs all year long! Donors who visit the center in July and August will be treated to fantastic giveaways and prizes. From Cape Cod getaways to delicious locally made treats – there’s something for everyone!

Summer Promotions and Events:

· For the entire month of July all donors will be entered to win prizes from the “Escape to the Cape” giveaway including a wine tour, a family bed and breakfast stay, whale watching, and wind surfing

· July 14th through August 4th all donors who visit the MGH Blood Donor Center will be invited to enter to win Patriots vs. Saints tickets for the August 11th game at Gillette

· July 25th through July 28th all platelet donors will receive a special MGH Blood Donor Center backpack

· On August 3rd and again on August 17th the MGH Blood Donor Center will be hosting Cookie Days! Lyndell’s Bakery in Somerville and Vicki Lee’s from Belmont will be providing delicious cookies for donors to sample on August 3rd. Donors visiting the center on August 17th will be treated to French pastries from Praline in Belmont and Italian cookies from the famous Bova’s Bakery in the North End

Whole blood donation hours: Tuesday – Thursday: 7:30am – 5:30pm, Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

Platelet donation hours: Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm

The MGH Blood Donor Center is located at 55 Fruit Street, Jackson 120 Boston, MA. Parking in MGH visitor lots is free for blood donors.
