UFO Sightings Reported In Massachusetts In 2016

There were seven instances in Massachusetts alone in December, including one on Christmas Eve. Hmmm....

Did you know there were seven UFO sightings reported in Massachusetts in December alone? And in 2016 there were more than 100 sightings reported in communities all across the Bay State, according to the National UFO Reporting Center.

Now don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying there are or aren't UFOs, but according to the National UFO Reporting Center, the most recent sighting in Massachusetts occurred in Dedham on Jan. 19 at 9:40 p.m.

Apparently someone reported an “vertical shape, bright light, stayed stationary but increased and decreased light, then 'blinked out.'"

Spooky stuff, right? Other sightings reported in December came from Amherst, Tewksbury, North Dartmouth, Ludlow, Plymouth, Erving, Osterville, and somewhere around exit 8 on the Mass Pike.

Other course of 2016, everywhere from Boston to Worcester to Framingham to Andover to Barnstable, and all in between, reported UFO sightings.

One such Massachusetts account could have been Santa's sleigh: The Ludlow sighting happened Christmas Eve and occurred while driving down the Pike. "Noticed 4 orange lights in a v formation in the low sky." Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Vixen?

Goofy, right? Well on Christmas, a similar report also came in from the Pike. "We saw four round orange bright lights flying low in the sky. "

And in case you’re wondering what the National UFO Reporting Center is, it’s been around since 1974 and it investigates UFO sightings. It has put together a list of more than 90,000 sightings around the world.
