Voices of Hope Presents Record-Breaking $180,000 Donation to Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute
Total Contributions Since 2009 Now Surpass $1.4 Million

ANDOVER, MA — March 21, 2025 — Voices of Hope (VOH), a nonprofit performing arts organization dedicated to raising funds for cancer research, proudly presented a record-breaking $180,000 donation to the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute (MGBCI) on Saturday, March 21, during a special gathering at the VOH rehearsal studio in Andover. The donation represents the organization’s largest single-year contribution to date, bringing VOH’s cumulative giving to an extraordinary $1,407,000 since 2009.
The check presentation welcomed distinguished guests from the Henri and Belinda Termeer Center for Targeted Therapies, including Mrs. Belinda Termeer, Dr. Dejan Juric (Director), Casandra McIntyre (Nurse Director), Erika Rosato (Vice President of Oncology Nursing), and Keith Erickson (Director of Development). VOH was also honored to be joined by longtime friend and supporter Karen Nascembeni, Chief Operating Officer of North Shore Music Theatre.

With more than 150 volunteer performers, Voices of Hope blends the power of storytelling and the performing arts with a mission-driven commitment to funding cutting-edge cancer research. Many members have been personally impacted by cancer, and their performances—rich with stories of hope, courage, remembrance, and resilience—form an inspiring bridge between art and advocacy.

Through annual stage productions, concerts, community events, and ongoing fundraising campaigns, VOH continues to champion the life-changing work happening at the Termeer Center and across the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute.
