WATCH: Roslindale Playground Catches Fire

Video of sparks flying as a fire burned in a Roslindale playground late Monday night.

A fire erupted at a Roslindale playground Monday evening.

Firefighters responded to the playground at the Charles Sumner Elementary School just before 10 p.m., the Boston Fire Department said. The department also said the fire "extended to trees with power lines running through them." Eversource was called in for support.

The fire was reported to be out at 11:45 p.m. No one was hurt, Boston Fire said.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
