Due to heavy snow expected during the morning commute, there will be no school Monday, March 21.

BOSTON, MA - Students in Boston - you have one more day to sleep in.

All 125 public schools in Boston will be closed Monday due to heavy snowfall anticipated during the morning commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for northeastern Massachusetts; snow is expected to fall from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and may continue overnight into Monday morning.

Some areas will likely see four to seven inches, forecasters say.

Meanwhile no parking ban has been declared so far, though the city is asking drivers to leave extra time in the morning and to keep the roads as clear as possible for close to 400 trucks participating in snow removal.
