CHELSEA, MA — A 59-year-old woman was found dead on LaFayette Avenue in Chelsea Monday after being stabbed numerous times, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office confirmed to Patch.

Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Suffolk County DA’s office are investigating along with the Chelsea Police Department, the DA's office said.
