BRAINTREE, MA — Like many Massachusetts communities, Braintree is trying to help feed people who are hungry.
It’s difficult to list all the resources that cities and towns make available, but here’s one that’s worth pointing out this week.
St. Francis of Assisi Church In Braintree will offer up to 40 free dinners Wednesday on a first-come, first-served basis – dedicated to those who truly need them.
A public notice said dinners will start at 5:30 p.m. on June 3, at the church hall, 854 Washington St. No registration is required.
The church said everyone is welcome, and that the free meals will continue on the first Wednesday of every month.
