BRAINTREE, MA — As colder weather settles in, the Braintree Community Food Pantry is helping make sure local families have food on the table.
The pantry will hold a food drop-off event from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at 14 Storrs Ave.
Anyone interested in lending a hand can donate a variety of items, including canned goods, pasta, flour, peanut butter, bread, tuna, bread, spices and more.
The pantry will also accept nonfood items, including cleaning supplies and paper towels.
Those looking to donate something sweet can bring cake and brownie mixes, pie filling and cornbread mix.
All donations will help people in need as the pantry prepares for colder temperatures and the upcoming holiday season.
