All funds raised will go toward the team's trip to what some fans call baseball heaven.

Cooperstown, New York, is home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, which houses memorabilia celebrating the sport's history.

Since the Hall of Fame opened in 1939, thousands of fans have traveled to Cooperstown each year to explore baseball history and connect with the game's past.

For the 12 players on the Braintree White team, it would be the trip of a lifetime.

If you're in the area, the team is asking residents to stop by and show their support.

The drive from Braintree to Cooperstown takes about four hours, depending on traffic.
