MEDFIELD, MA — Winter weather may still be a few weeks away, but Medfield Village Cleaners is already helping residents prepare for the colder months while giving back to the community.
Through Nov. 21, the business is collecting donations of winter essentials to help those in need stay warm.
The dry cleaner is accepting a variety of items, including coats, gloves, hats, scarves and other winter outerwear. All donations will benefit Medfield Outreach and Bethany Hill Place.
Residents with winter gear to spare can drop off their donations at Medfield Village Cleaners, located at 8C N. Meadows Drive.
All donated items will be cleaned before being distributed to those in need.
This marks the seventh consecutive year that Medfield Village Cleaners has hosted its winter essentials drive.
For residents looking to clear out their closets before winter arrives, the drive offers an opportunity to give unused winter clothing a new purpose while helping others stay warm.
