BRAINTREE, MA — Halloween fun is rolling into Braintree as the town prepares to bring back a family-friendly tradition.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, the town will host its fourth annual trunk-or-treat event, giving families a chance to celebrate the spooky season with costumes, candy and creatively decorated vehicles.
The festivities will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Braintree Town Hall, located at 733 Washington St.
Residents looking to show off their creative skills can join the fun by decorating their vehicle's trunk. Those interested in participating must register online in advance.
At the end of the event, votes will be tallied, and the best-decorated trunk will receive a prize.
Families who aren't decorating a trunk are still welcome to attend and enjoy an afternoon of trick-or-treating.
Whether residents are competing for the top prize or simply enjoying the Halloween festivities, the event offers a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the season.
