SEEKONK, MA — As winter weather approaches, Seekonk is calling on residents to help keep its baseball fields in top shape.
The town is seeking volunteers to help close down the fields and concession stands for the winter season.
On Sunday, Nov. 8, starting at 9 a.m., volunteers can roll up their sleeves and help prepare the fields for the colder months, ensuring they are ready for action when baseball season returns in the spring.
Cleaning tools will be provided for everyone who lends a helping hand.
With another baseball season in the books, this cleanup is an opportunity for residents to give back and help ensure the next generation of players has a great place to take the field.
