The Braintree Ghost Train Twitter Account is Here

A Twitter account making light of a Braintree train that left the station without an operator has appeared.

Braintree, MA - As MBTA and state officials investigate how a Red Line train left the Braintree station unmanned, someone on Twitter is having a little fun with the incident.

At 10:39 a.m., an account using the handle @gosttrainred and the name Red Line Ghost Train started tweeting, making jokes about the Red Line train that left Braintree Thursday morning without an operator.

“Thats it! I’m outta here!” the first tweet said.

All morning, the account has been tweeting about the advantages of the ghost car including timely arrivals, the lack of a need for a pension for a train, and the train’s search for a new job.
