AVON, MA — A woman was airlifted from a serious crash on Route 24, police said. Two others were injured in the early-morning crash.State Police said a two-car crash at Harrison Blvd. in Avon around 2 a.m. sent one of the vehicles off the road into trees and a utility pole. The passenger, a 23-year-old woman, was ejected from the car. She was flown to Mass. General.A woman who was driving the car was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, while the man driving the other was also taken to a hospital.The crash brought power lines down across Route 24, closing the highway for hours.
