10-Year-Old Saves Missing Children

Brockton, MA — Two missing kids were found in Brockton by a 10-year-old.

Navaya Veiga told the Enterprise that she was playing with her friends Monday night when she saw two kids in the middle of the road. The two kids, a 4-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy, had been missing for two hours and lived about a block away from Nye Avenue.

The kids were taken to a neighbor, who suggested calling 911. The kids were then taken to a hospital where they were reunited with their mother.

The incident is being investigated by the Department of Children and Families.
