18th Memorial Stepping Out for Old Colony Hospice 5K Walk and Run!

Old Colony Hospice will host the 18th Memorial Stepping Out for Old Colony Hospice 5K Walk and Run brought to you by ENOS HOME MEDICAL on Sunday May 1st at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton, MA. Check in starts at 11:30am and walk/run starts at 12:30pm. Stay for the Post-Walk Celebration including food, music, kid’s craft corner, raffles, and awards for race winners and top fundraisers.

New this year – lottery for a New Balance Falmouth Road Race number. For those interested, Old Colony Hospice will have an official charity team in the 2016 Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 21. To qualify for the lottery, you must participate in our 5K run on May 1st and raise or give $100 [we provide free fundraising tools]. The lottery drawing will take place on May 1st and if chosen, you agree to raise $750 per the requirements of the Falmouth Road Race charity program – details can be found on our walk website at http://oldcolonyhospice5krunwalk.kintera.org/

Choose to walk or run our wide, flat and private 5K road race, or select our 2 mile wooded nature trail for a more scenic route. There is a $25 minimum donation per person required to participate; Children 15 and under are FREE! Register before March 28th, 2016 to receive this year’s event t-shirt! The memorial walk and 5K is a wonderful opportunity to bring together family, friends and colleagues to honor and remember someone you hold dear in support of a great cause.
