360 Oxycodone Pills Seized In Brockton: MSP

A Dorchester man was caught on Pleasant Street in Brockton with 50 grams of Oxycodone pills, State Police said.

BROCKTON, MA — A Dorchester man was caught on Pleasant Street with more 360 Oxycodone pills, according to State Police. Derrick Rogers, 36, was charged with trafficking Oxycodone and improper use of a mobile device while operating a motor vehicle.

Around 10 p.m. Sunday, a state trooper pulled over Rogers because he was texting while driving, according to police. When the officer went back to his cruiser to issue a citation, police said Roger started making strange movements inside his car.

Police said the trooper ordered Rogers to exit the vehicle, fearing he might be trying to grab a weapon. The car was searched, and police said they found 360 Oxycodone pill that weighed roughly 50 grams. Rogers was arraigned in Brockton District Court Tuesday.
