5. Mass. couple accused in alleged $267,000 benefits fraud scheme (wcvb.com) — A Bridgewater couple has been arraigned in Brockton Superior Court, accused of fraudulently collecting more than $267,000 in state and federal benefits, including SNAP and MassHealth. Prosecutors say the pair misrepresented their household situation for years and also face separate charges tied to a GoFundMe campaign for an unhoused Bridgewater man.
