BROCKTON, MA —The Brockton Fire Department is bringing the community together to help residents learn more about fire safety.
The department is hosting an open house Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 540/560 West St.
The event will feature a range of activities to keep attendees engaged, including games, prizes, live demonstrations and a kids' confidence course.
There will also be fire prevention and safety activities.
When attendees get hungry, free pizza and other snacks will be available.
Brockton firefighters will be on-site to meet with the community and teach residents how to protect their homes and belongings from fires.
This year's open house is open to all ages and will provide families with information to help prevent fires and stay safe during emergencies.
