BROCKTON, MA — Halloween fun is coming to Brockton as the city's Fire Department prepares to bring back a family-friendly tradition.
On Sunday, Oct. 25, the Brockton Fire Department will host its fifth annual trick-or-treat event at Station 7, located at 605 N. Cary St.
The festivities will run from 3 to 5 p.m., giving families a chance to enjoy Halloween treats while getting to know the first responders who serve their community.
Attendees can look forward to an afternoon filled with candy, pizza and an up-close look at fire trucks and police cars. Representatives from other city departments will also be part of the celebration.
Families are encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit by wearing their favorite costumes.
The event also offers residents an opportunity to connect with local firefighters and other first responders in a fun, welcoming environment.
This year's celebration is being organized by City Council President John Lally.
