Suspect in Brockton Murder Held Without Bail
Police say Michael Pircio allegedly struck William James Porter in the head with an object.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man is expected to face murder charges in court Tuesday.
Early Tuesday morning, police responded to a report of an altercation at an apartment on Menlo Street, according to reports. Police say Michael Pircio allegedly struck William James Porter in the head with an object. Porter was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, where he was pronounced dead.

Pircio pleaded not guilty in Brockton District Court to murder charges. He was ordered held without bail.
