A bird that flew too close to electrical equipment is being blamed for a Thursday morning power outage in Brockton.

BROCKTON, MA — A bird that flew too close to electrical equipment is being blamed for a Thursday morning power outage in Brockton.

The Enterprise reportsthat the outage was caused by a bird that came in contact with electrical equipment. The outage was near 1129 North Main St., near the Avon line.

Power was expected to be restored by midday.
