Black Lives Matters Protest Comes to Brockton District Court
Residents in Brockton Friday protested the recently killing of two black men by police in Louisiana and Minnesota.

Brockton, MA — About 200 people marched and met on the steps of Brockton District Court to protest the recent deaths of two black men.
Community leader Ollie Spears told WATD that the residents gathered as a response to the deaths which took place during police incidents in Louisiana and Minnesota.

The event was planned before a sniper killed five officers in Dallas. Spears said they need the police but they don't want officers to abuse or disrespect citizens.
A second rally was scheduled for Sunday.
