Brockton, MA—A Brockton nursing home has been ordered by the state to stop accepting new residents after state regulators discovered that workers didn't respond properly to one resident who suffered a heart attack and another that need oxygen.
On July 1, Braemoor Health Center was ordered to stop accepting new patients, according to the Boston Globe. State health officials also recommended cutting Braemoor from Medicare and Medicaid and fines of $10,000 a day until safety is restored.

The facility was ordered to make sure their staff is trained and are able to respond to alarms that go off when residents leave locked areas and can assist residents who suffer serious heart problems.
