Brockton Couple Displaced by Christmas Fire

Both occupants of the home escaped without injury.

BROCKTON, MA — Faulty wiring and an electrical problem are being blamed for a fire that left a Brockton couple displaced on Christmas.

At about 8:30 a.m., Brockton fire responded to a blaze on Clifton Avenue. Deputy Fire Chief Jerry Kenney told the Enterprise that the couple got themselves out of the home without injuries, as did their pets.

While there was minimal damage, the couple was displaced and stayed with relatives.
