A Brockton husky is in custody after biting four people, police said.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton husky is in custody after biting four people, police said.

Wednesday morning, Brockton animal control received a report of a dog bite on Brian Drive. Another bite was reported on the way to the scene, according to FOX25.

While a firefighter and the animal control officer tried to restrain the dog, both the firefighter and the animal control officer were bitten by the dog.

The first person who was bitten, identified as Eric, said he heard two dogs near his backyard fence. When he went to see what was happening, the white dog named Leo jumped up and bit his arm. The dog was taken into custody.

The dogs owner live on the street. They had no comment about the incident.

In a statement on Facebook, Mayor Bill Carpenter said no action will be taken until an investigation takes place.
