Brockton Girl Shaken Up After Attempted Break-in

BROCKTON, MA — A teenage girl witnessed an attempted break-in as she was making breakfast Wednesday morning.

Jasmine Brandao, 14,told WHDH that she was a man go around the house. She ducked down next to the kitchen counter, called her parents, then police, and went upstairs to lock herself in her parents' bedroom.

The man broke a window, but was likely scared off by the alarm system.

No arrests have been made. The suspect is described as a white bearded man in his 20s. At the time he was y shorts and a light gray or white t-shirt.
