Brockton Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Boston Shooting
A Brockton man was charged with attempted murder after shooting a man in Roxbury, according to Boston police.
BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man was arrested Saturday on a warrant after shooting a man in Roxbury on May 11, according to Boston police. Julio Soto, 27, was charged with intent to murder, aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm.
Police said the shooting took place on Fairland Street. The man suffered serious injuries, but is going to survive, according to police. Officers found and arrested Soto Saturday afternoon, just before 2:30 p.m., near Blue Hill Avenue and Westview Street in Dorchester.
Soto was scheduled to arraigned in Roxbury District Court Monday.
