Brockton Man Charged In Fatal Hit-And-Run Outside Hospital

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident that caused personal injury or death after a fatal hit-and-run outside of the entrance of Brockton Hospital Tuesday night.

Brockton police said the woman was rushed back inside the hospital, but did not survive her injuries.

Allen Perkins, 57, was charged on Wednesday morning.

Police said someone driving a Chevrolet Tahoe hit the woman and then fled the scene toward Abington.

Police had not identified the victim as of Wednesday morning.
