Brockton Man Charged with Fleeing Crash, Taking Police on a Chase
Claudio Araujo, 28, of Brockton, faces multiple charges.

From the Pembroke Police Department:
On Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at approximately 8:30 a.m., a Pembroke Police Officer on routine patrol observed a motor vehicle in traffic with a registration plate infraction. As soon as the officer turned on the overhead blue lights to pull the vehicle over the operator immediately sped off running the red light at the intersection of Church Street, Route 139 and Route 3 South bound off ramp. The vehicle struck a motor vehicle in traffic and continued without stopping until crashing into the rear end of a second vehicle.
The operator of the vehicle took off on foot into the woods and was caught by police after a short foot pursuit the suspect was subsequently arrested.

The operator of the third vehicle was injured, treated on scene by the Pembroke Fire Department and transported to the hospital.
