Brockton Man Charged in Quincy Road Rage Incident

Derek Horner, 34, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

QUINCY, MA — A Brockton man faces charges following an alleged road rage incident in Quincy.

Derek Horner, 34, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the Enterprise. Police say the incident took place at 3:08 p.m. at the intersection of Hancock Street and Furnace Brook Parkway.

A woman involved in the incident told police that Horner allegedly pointed a gun at her. He was taken into custody at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Washington Street in Braintree.

Horner is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Quincy District Court.
