Brockton Man Charged with Robbing Bank

Russell Williams of Brockton has been charged with unarmed robbery.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man will face charges related to a bank robbery that took place Thursday afternoon.

Russell Williams, 36, will be summonsed to court at a later date and charged with unarmed robbery, according to the Enterprise.

At about 1:21 p.m., police received two panic alarms from Webster Bank on Oak Street. Police were told the man fled the scene after robbing the bank.

There was no weapon shown and Williams was identified through surveillance footage, police said.
