Brockton Man Charged with Trafficking Heroin
State police arrested Jason Hodo after a traffic stop in Taunton

BROCKTON, MA - Police allegedly discovered a large amount of heroin inside a Brockton man's vehicle Wednesday night.
Jason Hodo, 25, was arrested in Taunton and charged with trafficking heroin, carrying a dangerous weapon(switchblade), license plate violation, failure to signal, failure to stop/yield, and possession of a Class D drug.

At about 10:25 p.m., state police observed a Mitsubishi Lancer driving at a high rate of speed in Taunton that allegedly had numerous other motor vehicle infractions. The vehicle was stopped on Fay Street, police said.
Following a subsequent investigation, Hoda was allegedly found to be in possession of a large quantity of a substance believed to be heroin.

Hoda was released after posting $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Taunton District Court later this week.
