Brockton Man Faces Gun Charges in Randolph
Marcos Silveira, 22, of Brockton, turned himself in at Quincy District Court

BROCKTON, MA — A second man has been arrested in connection to an illegal firearms investigation in Randolph.
Marcos Silveira, 22, of Brockton, turned himself in at Quincy District Court. He is charged with two counts of possessing/carrying a firearm, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, two counts of unlawful possession of ammunition, and unlawful possession of a high capacity magazine.
Darius Bass, 22, of Boston was arrested on Jan. 6 and faces the same charges, according to the Randolph Police Department.

The two are being charged in connection to two recent shootings. On New Year's Day, police responded to a report of shots fired on Howe Circle, according to the Patriot Ledger. Last Friday, while police investigated the first shooting, police observed two suspects. One of the men, identified as Bass, was taken into custody and Silveira fled.
Both are due back in court in February.
