BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man was arrested in Milton after he was found with a handgun he stole in Bridgewater, according to Massachusetts State Police. Edison Hui, 19, was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition without an FID card, improper storage of a fire arm, receiving stolen property over $1,200, carrying a loaded firearm, and window obstructed/non-transparent.

Around 12:45 a.m. Friday, State Police pulled over a car on Blue Hills Parkway at Austin Street. The card was missing a front license plate and had an illegal tint, according to police. Police said they became worried for their safety when they saw Hui hide something under his seat. After searching under the seat, State Police said officers seized a loaded pistol. Police said Hui did not have a license to carry a gun and later discovered the gun was reported stolen out of Bridgewater.

Hui was held on $25,000 bail until his arraignment Saturday in Quincy Distirct Court.
