BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man is dead following a crash early Monday morning.  Chris Akerblom, 20, died on Oak Street after losing control of his car, crossing the street, and striking a tree, <a href="http://www.enterprisenews.com/news/20161017/brockton-man-20-killed-in-crash-on-oak-street" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Enterprise.</a> Following the crash, Akerblom was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center with serious injuries. He was prounced dead at the hospital.  A drag race was reported on North Montello Street just before the crash, but police believe he wasn't racing.  Police are investigating the crash and say speed may have been a factor.Image via Shutterstock
