Brockton Man Killed In Fiery Wreck: DA

EASTON, MA — A Brockton man was killed in a fiery wreck after a work van collided with a semitrailer, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.

Danidelson Monteiro, 34, was in the work van that burst into flames following the collision with the semitrailer about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, the district attorney's office said in a media release.

Monteiro was the sole occupant of the work van, the release said.

The driver of the semitrailer suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

"The investigation into this matter is active and ongoing by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office along with Easton Police," the release said.
