Brockton Native Killed in Pawtucket, R.I. Crash
Three people were killed in the early Thursday morning crash,

PROVIDENCE, R.I., — A Pawtucket man faces charges in a fatal crash that took the lives of three people, including a Brockton native.
James Belanger, 21, faces three counts of duty to stop in an accident resulting in personal injury/death; three counts of driving to endanger, resulting in death; one count of possession of cocaine; and one count of driving while in a possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned Monday in Providence District Court, according to the Providence Journal.
Authorities say Belanger was behind the wheel of a vehicle that crashed into a utility pole early Thursday morning. Three passengers, including Brockton native Theresa Leary, were killed in the crash. None of the passengers were wearing seat belts, police said.

Belanger was ordered held on $25,000 bail.
