BROCKTON, MA — A nursing home that faces fines of about $250,000 and accusations of serious issues can accept patients again.
On Aug. 16 state inspectors ruled that Braemoor Health Center could bring in new patients, according to the Boston Globe.The original problems stem from a July 1 surprise inspection and two resident deaths.
Investigators say that the staff was undertrained in life-support care and found defective equipment. The home has until Sept. 16 to pay a $248,100 fine.
