Brockton Police Seek To Hire Victim Specialist

BROCKTON, MA — The Brockton Police Department is looking to hire a victim specialist who would help assist crime victims and work with during any prosecution to try to help ensure they are not victimized a second time during the court process. The victim specialist will make sure victims and witnesses ware provided with the services mandated by the state's Victim Bill of Rights, as well as additional services provided through the Brockton Police Department's Victim Assistance Program.

The specialist will also be asked to provide information, support and advocacy to victims, witnesses and their families through the criminal justice process. A list of requirements for the position, and way to apply, can be found here.
