Brockton Police Seize Guns and Fentanyl During Raid

A Brockton man was arrested on gun and drug charges following a two-month investigation.

Filisengelo Silva, 36, was arrested Thursday and charged with charged with two counts of possession of a firearm without an FID card, five counts of unlawful possession of ammunition, two counts of unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, defacing a firearm serial number and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, suboxone, and Winstrol, according to the Enterprise.

In a post from Mayor Bill Carpenter's Facebook page, police said Silva was the target of an investigation. During the raid, police seized a Smith and Wesson 9' millimeter firearm with an ammunition magazine containing 14 9' millimeter rounds, one sig Sauer brand 9' millimeter firearm with an ammunition magazine containing 10 9' millimeter rounds and an obliterated serial number, one ammunition box containing 30 9' millimeter rounds, seven 45' caliber rounds, and a 40' caliber round.

Police also seized 1.4 grams of Fentanyl, ten suboxone patches, 93 blue pills suspected Winstrol pills, three cellular telephones, two digital scales, packaging materials, and $606.

Silva was transported to the Brockton Police Department for processing and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Brockton District Court.
