BROCKTON, MA — The owner of a Caribbean-style restaurant in Brockton is showing defiance in the face of three break-ins in the span of less than three weeks. Jamaica's Best early Sunday morning was the target of the third attempted robbery since Feb. 6.

"Despite all the breaking in we have been getting in the past 3 week we will stand United an will keep our business open," Jamaica's Best posted on its Facebook page, along with a video of one of the suspects smashing a hole in the front door and crawling through it.

The latest break-in happened just three days after the previous one on Feb. 14. The first break-in happened on Feb. 6.

The security video shows a suspect in a gray hood and wearing gloves climb through a hole smashed into the front door, race over to the counter as the alarm starts sounding and checking the cash register — which the owner left open and empty. The suspect then runs back to the front door and climbs back through the same hole. A second security video posted shows possibly one of the suspects walking down a nearby alley.

Brockton police are investigating the string of breaks and ask that anyone with any information contact the department.
